Just got this in from James, who is understandably pissed off at the traffic situation prevailing in Harare.
I think Candid Consumerism is a great idea. Joe what about a site/page where we can also have a go at other issues….i.e. bad driving on our roads that I see everyday.
I am not a person who is easily angered, but I definately understand ‘roadrage’ at the moment. Why can people not respect one another on our roads, why do some people have to ‘create’ lanes that are non existent.
We all would like to get to our destination as soon as possible, but some people do not follow the basic road rules and cause others problems and frustration. I understand we have conjestion on our roads at the moment, but lets all follow the basic rules and we will all get where we are going earlier and not so frustrated.
Having to drive down Borrowdale Road every day, I’m no stranger to cursing and screaming for a large part of the journey. Bad driving is indeed a consumer issue, because we pay for the infrastructure we use, and if it’s poorly policed and managed, we have problems.
Anyone else out there hate kombi drivers as much as we do?
